The Local 415 Part-Time/Sessional (PT/SL) Demand-Set Meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 4, from 3 to 5 pm. Find a copy of the meeting agenda here.
At this meeting, Part-Time and Sessional Counsellors, Librarians, Instructors, and Professors will discuss and vote on their priority demands for the first Collective Agreement for this division. The PT/SL Bargaining Team will bring those priorities to the table, so your participation directly shapes what gets negotiated. If you are OTFT, you may be in the unique position of participating in both the FT/PL, as well as the PT/SL Demand-Set Meetings. The sign up details below are only for PT/SL sign ups; a separate email has been sent to FT/PL for that Demand Set meeting the day after this one.
How to register: Follow this link and answer some qualifying questions to register.
Format: The meeting will be hybrid. You can join in person in Room P201 or you can join online (as long as you have already signed your PT/SL Electronic Membership Form). Please invite as many of your colleagues as you can to register and attend the session with you.
Important: If you have not yet signed your Electronic Membership Form (EMF), you must attend the meeting in person. Signing the EMF activates your full membership rights, including the right to vote. Sign your EMF here.
Start thinking about your priorities: Through the Fall 2025 Bargaining Survey and the Town Halls conducted by the Bargaining Team, PT/SL members at Algonquin College identified their top priorities as wages and benefits, employment security, and workload. What would you add? Come share the issues that are most important to you.
