Earlier today, we received the message from HR Communications about the College Employer Council’s forced offer vote. This vote, which has yet to be scheduled, effectively bypasses negotiations and all of the hard work which has been done by us all so far.
Over the coming days, Local 415 will provide feedback and guidance about the impacts of this offer of settlement. Please stay tuned for further communications from us, and our bargaining team, including information sharing through membership meetings.
Thank you for your continued showing of support throughout this job action. Our work-to-rule continues, as it remains important to maintain pressure on the college. We know that this isn’t easy. Your efforts over the past several weeks have demonstrated a strong commitment to standing together.
Please continue to be in touch with questions.
In solidarity,
Your Local 415 Leadership Team
