It’s not too late to Keep Hydro Public!

Keep Hydro Public

New Campaign targets Liberal MPPs view here

85% of Hydro One is still owned by the people It is not to late to keep hydro public

That’s the message of the new phase of Keep Hydro Public campaign, as we step up the pressure on the Liberal MPPs to speak out against hydro privatization.

We kicked off the first in a series of community campaigns aimed at target Liberal MPPs in Scarborough in late February. This weekend, we’ll be kicking off in Peterborough.

An overflowing room at The Scarborough hub saw over 100 volunteers rallied by local community leaders before heading out to canvass and leaflet door-to-door. Campaign materials reminded constituents that 85 percent of hydro one is still owned by the people of Ontario, and it’s not too late to Keep Hydro public.

To participate in the next phase of our campaign, email your MPP and tell them to put the brakes on privatization!
