The bargaining teams met again today. The CEC team introduced counter-proposals on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, as well as a proposal on “Truth and Reconciliation.” These proposals conclude their responses to the full equity proposals tabled by faculty. The CEC team has proposed the formation of committees that would report to the Employee/Employer Relations Committee (EERC) and would make recommendations to the parties in 2023. The faculty bargaining team is reviewing these proposals and will provide responses. In addition, the CEC team indicated that they will have further responses on additional issues tomorrow.
