Letter from the Faculty Bargaining Team
The Union has had a standing invitation for the employer to get back to bargaining table since they broke off talks on November 12. The union advised the conciliators of that on November 12.
We’re pleased the employer has agreed.
However, they have only offered one date. That is a concern.
We will try to find a settlement on November 30, if the employer is truly interested in good faith bargaining.
We hope they are responding to what they have heard from faculty and students, that the terms they’ve imposed are inadequate and that the imposition itself was wrong.
