OPSEU Local 415 is the democratically-run body that represents Algonquin College full-time and partial-load faculty (professors and instructors), cousellors, and librarians.
On October 23, 2012 the Ontario Public Service Employees Union reached an agreement with the Government of Ontario to maintain joint control of pension plans and ensure their viability over coming years.

OPSEU Local 415 proudly represents approximately 900 full-time and partial-load academic employees at Algonquin College. This group consists of full-time (FT) and partial-load (PL) professors and instructors, counsellors, and librarians.
